The Global Security NGO is a voluntary civil society organisation committed to enhancing security and strengthening competencies across society.

We are a voluntary association of experts, researchers and information technology professionals. Our work serves the public interest and is based on active cooperation with public authorities, educational institutions, research organisations and international partners.

Our primary focus is on developing practical solutions for the civil society sector, promoting high standards of information literacy, and establishing transparent mechanisms for assessing professionals' competencies.

Analytics and Expert Materials

This section presents our research, analytical reviews, practical recommendations and methodological materials aimed at raising awareness, promoting a culture of security and supporting informed decision-making.

Research

Assessment of Schoolchildren's Awareness of Risks Associated with Mines and Explosive Remnants of War

Risk Control LLC, the Global Security NGO, Rating Agency MIRA LLC and the MIOT NGO jointly conducted a study assessing schoolchildren's awareness of risks associated with mines and explosive remnants of war. As part of the study, a questionnaire was developed and students' levels of awareness were assessed before and after the delivery of informational sessions.

The findings demonstrated a significant improvement in students' knowledge of how to identify hazardous objects, follow safe behaviour rules, and respond appropriately when a potential threat is discovered. Based on the data collected, an analytical report and practical recommendations were prepared to improve awareness-raising and educational activities related to mine safety.

Mine Safety Awareness Activities for Schoolchildren in Kyiv's Dniprovskyi District

The Global Security NGO, in cooperation with Risk Control LLC, conducts awareness-raising activities on mine safety. Ahead of the summer holidays, a series of sessions was held for students from schools in Kyiv's Dniprovskyi District, where students learned to identify hazardous objects and respond safely if one is found. By 2026, the activities had reached more than 1,000 students.

Global Security NGO, MIRA Rating Agency LLC, and MIOT NGO created a channel to improve students' digital, information, and financial literacy: covering fake news, scholarship scams, suspicious job offers, dangerous links, and safe online payments.
